A New Way to Support Our Life-Saving Mission

San Antonio is about to get a brand-new way to give back—and it involves a little “retail therapy.”

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the San Antonio Pets Alive! Second Chance Thrift Store in January 2026! Located at 8336 Marbach Road, this isn’t just a place to find unique treasures; it’s a powerhouse for our life-saving mission.

Shop and Save Lives Simultaneously

Imagine finding your next favorite outfit or a vintage home decor piece and knowing that every single cent you spent is going directly toward saving an animal in need.

At the Second Chance Thrift Store, 100% of all sales go directly back to San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!). When you shop here, you are literally providing medical care, food, and shelter for pets in our community who need it most.

What You’ll Find (and Can Donate!)

Our shelves will be stocked with a massive variety of items. We are currently accepting donations of gently used goods to help fill our store with treasures:

• Clothing: Options for women, men, and kids.
• Accessories: Shoes, bags, and jewelry.
• Home Essentials: Throw pillows, kitchenware, and your favorite new coffee mugs.
• Furniture: Large and small pieces for every room in the house.
• For the Kids: Gently used toys and games
• Pet Supplies: Cat trees, dog food, beds, and more!

How to Visit, Donate, or Volunteer

Whether you want to declutter your home or donate your time, there are three main ways to help us make this store a success:

1. Come Shop With Us

2. Drop Off Your Donations

We welcome your gently used items!

• Donation Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

3. Volunteer Your Time

We need passionate volunteers to help with sorting, pricing, and customer service. We have shifts available to fit your schedule!
