Guppy (SAPA-A-53421) Domestic shorthair, cinnamon and orange tabby Female Good with cats: yes Good with dogs: yes (will hiss) Good with kids: yes special needs: partially paralyzed back legs, wears diapers Videos: Guppy is a spunky kitten with a beautiful coat and lively personality. Playing and exploring are her favorite things to do, and she is content to snuggle when she tires out. Her large, expressive eyes and intense eye contact has everyone that meets her fall instantly in love. Fully mobile cats don't phase Guppy, she can run nearly as fast as they can and climb the cat tree faster. Guppy loves to nibble on people she likes. Guppy's lively approach to problems is delightful to watch as she climbs barriers and convinces the other cats to play with her. She came in with a spinal injury, likely from a car accident, and couldn't use her back legs or tail at all. Since she has been in foster care, she has improved dramatically. Today she holds her back end up as she walks her front legs and while she doesn't walk with her back legs yet, it is possible she will improve with therapy. She has partially paralyzed back legs, so she wears a diaper around the house and stays diaperless in a kennel when unattended. Guppy isn't shy about saying what she wants, she likes to be clean and will let you know when she needs to be changed. At only 5 lbs and 10 months old, Guppy is small for her age, and likely to stay on the small side as she becomes an adult cat. You have to meet this kitten to see how wonderful she is; Guppy has a large personality and picks specific people she loves. Could you be the person for her?
