Lock is 5 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. Hi! My name is Lock, I am a pretty big guy, 5 years old, looking for my forever home. I love people and getting pats and attention, even from small humans! I go on nice long walks every day with my foster humans and walk very well on a leash. I am completely potty trained and while my foster humans are at work, I take that time to relax and nap with my foster brother. I get along with him really well even though he is much older than me, we both like chasing kitties and squirrels, so we have that in common. I get SO excited when the foster humans come home from work, we go on a nice long walk and I love running in the big backyard - i even dipped my toes in the pool! My ideal forever home might have a doggy sibling, but no kitties. Small children are ok, but sometimes I forget how big I am and might knock someone over. I'd love to have a backyard to run in and someone to take me on long walks or even a run! If you are interested in adopting or fostering me, please email with my name and ID#. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of an additional pet who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in a San Antonio Pets Alive adoption center.
