ADOPT A DOG

When you adopt a dog, you save a life.

Please have a look at all the amazing dogs we have for adoption in our centers and our foster program. If you would like more information on a pet found here please fill out an adoption application (filling this out does not secure an adoption) and a member of our adoption team will reach out. Be sure to include the pet’s name and ID# in the subject line. In the email please include your phone number and email address and someone will contact you as soon as possible. (Please allow 24 hours for return contact)

Take a look at our SAPA! Urgents and Adoptables Facebook page for dogs in immediate need of foster or adoption.

To see what each adoption requires and includes, please visit our Adopt page.

Adoption Application Disclaimer:  Filling out the adoption application does NOT guarantee a hold or confirmation of adoption on the pet you applied for.  All applications are reviewed and must be accepted by our trained counselors before a pet is adopted.  Please allow 24-48 hours for our adoption team to contact you in regards to your application.

INKY

SAPA-A-53851

AGE
14 MONTHS OLD

SEX
FEMALE

LOCATION
IN-FOSTER

BREED
TERRIER / CHIHUAHUA, SHORT COAT

Please note: Inky weighs only 22 lbs and at 13 months of age, she is 90% full grown. Her foster family has had her since she was a baby and at that time they thought her to be "chihuahua/dachshund" blend. Now that she's fully developed, we don't know what she is, except we DO know she is 22 pounds of PURE SWEETNESS! Below is what Inky's foster mom says about her ... "This 13 month-old female pup is looking for just the right situation for a forever home. Inky loves other dogs, so having a dog companion is important. Inky is also a very energetic girl who can leap and run like a gazelle. An active human would be on her wish list. After a busy day, Inky is more than happy to be that faithful companion by your side, ready to cuddle. Inky's many accomplishments include being housebroken, knowing how to sit on command and walk on a leash, and being a best friend to a cat! Currently, Inky weighs 22 pounds and shouldn't get much bigger. In this perfect-sized, blue-eyed package, you get a bundle of energy and affection that is hard to resist!"
