ADOPT A DOG

When you adopt a dog, you save a life.

Please have a look at all the amazing dogs we have for adoption in our centers and our foster program. If you would like more information on a pet found here please fill out an adoption application (filling this out does not secure an adoption) and a member of our adoption team will reach out. Be sure to include the pet’s name and ID# in the subject line. In the email please include your phone number and email address and someone will contact you as soon as possible. (Please allow 24 hours for return contact)

Take a look at our SAPA! Urgents and Adoptables Facebook page for dogs in immediate need of foster or adoption.

To see what each adoption requires and includes, please visit our Adopt page.

Adoption Application Disclaimer:  Filling out the adoption application does NOT guarantee a hold or confirmation of adoption on the pet you applied for.  All applications are reviewed and must be accepted by our trained counselors before a pet is adopted.  Please allow 24-48 hours for our adoption team to contact you in regards to your application.

Woody Bear (or Dash as he is more commonly known) is a spunky dude who loves to play and cuddle. He loves people and loves to play fetch. Around the house he will follow you around and hang out. If you are on the couch, be prepared for endless hours of indoor ball tossing. He walks well on a leash for the most part, however he gets very excited about squirrels, deer, dogs, and cats. He will pull on the leash when he sees these things, but not excessively hard. Mostly he will jump around and whine a little. He likes to notify you when someone is at the door and gets very excited about people coming over. He is house and crate trained. He knows sit (we are working on other commands). He does well in his crate during the day or at night, but will whine if he is in his crate and he can see you around the house. He would do best in an active environment.
