Rebecca Mayberry brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership, fundraising, and marketing to San Antonio Pets Alive! Prior to SAPA!, Rebecca served as the National Manager of Development at the Petco Foundation, where she worked to secure gifts from both corporations and individuals and oversaw several highly successful national projects. In addition, she worked at Best Friends Animal Society where she managed a team of seven and focused on creating strategies to secure individual gifts, developing stewardship plans and managing donor events. Rebecca lives in the San Antonio area with her husband and six rescued dogs and cats.
Krystina Chandler's time at San Antonio Pets Alive! began in early 2013 as a foster and volunteer. She joined the SAPA! team full-time later that same year. Since then, Krystina has gained experience in various departments and programs. Prior to becoming Director of Operations, Krystina was acting assistant director of operations and coordinated transports to partner rescue groups and shelters. During her free time, you can find Krystina at a sporting event or with her two SAPA! dogs.
Olivia Schneider, MBA
Olivia Schneider is passionate about making a positive impact in her hometown city of San Antonio. A lover of dogs and cats, Olivia is thankful for the opportunity to use the power of words to educate San Antonio about the animal welfare crisis in San Antonio, her MBA to support San Antonio Pets Alive!'s life-saving mission, and her passion to incite community engagement at promotional events. Outside of the office, you can find Olivia reading a good novel with her rescue cat, Dexter, working out with Camp Gladiator, playing piano in her church band, or exploring San Antonio with her husband, Aaron, and their SAPA! pup, Odin and Watson.
Katherine brings eleven years of experience in both the animal welfare and health and human services non-profit fields. She has worked at the local, national and international level. In her role as the Director of Community Engagement at SAPA! Katherine’s focus is creating innovative, groundbreaking and results-driven community programs with a focus on animal life saving in the city of San Antonio. She shares a home with her partner and together they have five rescued animals who make sure they never get too bored in their time off.
