San Antonio Pets Alive!'s determination to save the lives of at-risk dogs and
cats remains unshaken, even under current challenging circumstances. Soaring
costs have certainly added a hurdle to our work, but we continue to operate
thanks to your support.

More than 40 SAPA! dogs will be
'headin' home' to Delaware on August 22nd to be matched with their forever
families!
We are currently getting all dogs
ready with their vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries and more. Your help is
needed to cover the costs of medical care as well as necessities such as food,
fuel, kennels, and more.
A sponsorship for one dog is $175.
You can sponsor in your own name, or, as a gift to honor or remember a special
pet or person. Please consider helping the deserving dogs to 'head
home'!

Free Adoptions!
All adoption fees will be waived for dogs and puppies adopted
from SAPA!’s Rescue Center starting today,
August 18 until August 20, 2023. SAPA! Rescue Center is located at 4710 Highway 151 San Antonio 78227.

The Lost Bar & Grill will sponsor 10 dog adoption
fees in honor of their 10th anniversary! Join us for an amazing adoption event
on Saturday, August 19th, from 12PM to 4PM at The Lost Bar & Grill located
at 12730 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78230.

Paws for Celebration is SAPA!'s largest in-person
annual fundraising event. We invite you to enjoy a night of compassionate

Fosters of the
Month: Brandy and Christopher Williams
|
Brandy and Christopher Williams are San Antonio Pets Alive!’s Fosters of the
Month! When this wonderful couple take on a foster pet, they wholeheartedly
dedicate themselves to ensuring they find the most fitting forever home.
A great example of their commitment is their last foster, Teefa, a pup that was
adopted and returned - twice. Despite the challenges, Brandy and Christopher
persisted, invested time, and set up Teefa with a professional trainer. It all
paid off when Teefa finally found her perfect, loving family!
Brandy and Christopher's generosity doesn't stop there. They also welcome strays
into their home until they are successfully placed in wonderful foster homes,
and so much more! Their commitment is a shining example, inspiring us all to
make a difference in the lives of animals.

San Antonio Pets Alive! has many cats and dogs who
have been with us too long. Each month we highlight our long-stay animals to
help find them their forever families.

Peach is a
5-year-old gal who is house-trained, has very good manners, and a sweet
personality. She has been in our care for 144 days. Peach is a staff favorite
and we can't understand why she's still with us!

Cake is a 2-year-old female
Tabby who would love to spend the rest of her life with her forever
family.
