Wow, oh wow! As if the challenges of saving lives
weren't tough enough, SAPA! faced maintenance problems with the air
conditioning (AC) in our Rescue Center earlier this month, prompting an
emergency evacuation of all animals from the building to foster homes, or, our
Medical Care and Adoption Center.
The process was a phenomenal feat; people really
worked together to ensure our life saving mission could continue. From
volunteer fosters and donors to our own SAPA! staff, the outpour of support
has been truly uplifting!
Since then, the city has installed a temporary
cooling system, enabling a portion of the building to be utilized. Though the
AC still requires repairs, we can continue our vital work of saving at-risk
cats and dogs. We'll be sure to keep you updated on the AC. Until then, enjoy
the Pupdate!

San Antonio Pets Alive!'s Headin' Home Transportation Program offers dogs the
chance to leave Texas and relocate to states where there are eager folks ready
to open their homes to them.
We are thrilled to announce twelve SAPA! dogs
departed Texas earlier this month and arrived in Delaware to find their forever
homes!
We wish them a future filled with joy, and
thanks to your financial support of the program, have been granted a second
chance to experience the lives they truly deserve!

5PM-7PM benefiting San Antonio Pets Alive!. Everyone is invited, including

Join SAPA!'s Kitten Party on Friday, July 28th from
1-2 pm at SAPA!'s administrative office. For $35 you will have the opportunity
to bottle-feed and cuddle with kittens of all ages! Tickets include snacks and
cuteness overload.*

dedication and support has been remarkable. Stephen, SAPA!'s Foster
