As we welcome the spring season, it is also the
time of kitten season! SAPA!'s lifesaving team has already started to see an
increase of kittens and is working hard to save as many precious lives as
possible through foster care. Unfortunately, in the month of March the number of dogs
on the city shelter's euthanasia list has not slowed down. Our locations are
completely full, and we continue to ask our community to please help us with
our lifesaving efforts by fostering or adopting.
This month, we
invite you to participate in San Antonio Pets Alive!'s Pawparazzi Pet Photo
Contest! This is a fun way to show your support for SAPA! and help us continue
our lifesaving work. All cats and dogs are welcome to participate!

Pawparazzi Pet Photo
Contest
|
San Antonio Pets Alive! invites ALL pet parents to
participate in this creative, fun and engaging contest that supports at-risk
animals in our community!
It’s easy to participate! To enter, go to www.gogophotocontest.com/sanantoniopetsalive,
upload and submit your favorite photo of your pet ($20 donation), vote for
your pet ($1 donation) and have your friends and family vote too! The contest
will run April 1 until April 30, 2023. The grand prize winner receives his/her
pet's face on limited-edition special label Alamo Beer Company beer cans with
one of Alamo Beer Company's favorite beer. These cans will be available for
sale at Alamo Beer Company. The winner will also receive a case of the
limited-edition special label Alamo Beer Company beer featuring the winning
pet's face, a VIP tour of Alamo Beer Company for four people (must be 21 years
and older), and a $500 H-E-B gift card!
All
winners and participants are invited to attend our post contest event on June
3 at Alamo Beer Company, celebrating our pets and revealing the winner’s beer
can label!

SAPA! will be

money for our lifesaving mission.

Month
Carol Bell

Carol Bell was nominated by our foster team as the
foster of the month! Carol specializes in fostering puppies, and we are very
thankful for Carol and her lifesaving work!
Carol has been fostering with SAPA! since 2020.
Shelly, SAPA!'s Foster Manager said, "The thing we appreciate most about Carol
is that she keeps up with her foster's medical appointments, does a great job
marketing her fosters, and keeps her fosters up-to-date with their surgeries."
Most recently Carol was asked if she would take
over fostering four puppies from another foster, and she didn't hesitate at
all!
