As the end of the year approaches, San Antonio Pets
Alive!'s (SAPA!) lifesaving team is working tirelessly to achieve our
ambitious goal of saving 1,000 animals before September comes to a close.
We're pulling out all the stops, and one of our key initiatives is an adoption special aimed at helping potential pet parents
fall in love with a rescue pet.
That's not all happening at SAPA!; our biggest
fundraiser of the year, The Big Give, is just around the corner. We've set our
sights high, with a goal of raising $125,000 to
continue our life-saving work. Early donations are being accepted now, and we
wholeheartedly encourage you to contribute generously. Your support will make
a profoundly positive impact on the lives of animals in need. We have exciting

Big Give is San Antonio Pets Alive!'s biggest fundraiser
of the year and is two days away! This year's BIG goal gives tremendous hope
to the
hundreds of precious dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in our care, along with
the ones we have yet to meet.
Your
donation will make a pawsative impact to our animals. Help us by spreading the
word, making a gift, and sharing our Big Give page. Every dollar counts and
makes a BIG difference for our four-legged (sometimes three) friends!

SAPA! is waiving adoption fees to encourage you
to "fall in love with a rescue pet." Starting September 16th
until September 24th you can adopt a dog or puppy from any SAPA! location and
foster care for a monetary donation (minimum $10 donation).*
*off site adoptions must be completed at SAPA!’s
Petco Love Adoption Center or SAPA! adoption event
*special does not include ambassadors

SAPA! will be at the San Antonio Home + Garden Show on October 6th - 8th!
Lots of adoptable pets will also be present and will be ready to join their
forever families that very day!

Fosters of the
Month: Dani Nemeth
|
Dani Nemeth has been named San Antonio Pets
Alive!'s Foster of the Month for September, and her dedication to saving lives
is truly remarkable. Since 2020, she has been a beacon of hope for countless
animals in need. Dani's passion knows no bounds, as she generously fosters
kittens of all ages, earning her the well-deserved title of "kitten hero" from
SAPA!'s Foster Manager, Shelly.
Dani is not content with just fostering! She has
taken on the role of a mentor for new foster volunteers, sharing her knowledge
and experience with others. Her commitment extends beyond the city limits;
even when she's out of town, she doesn't hesitate to lend a hand. Dani keeps a
watchful eye on emergencies, like neonatal pleas, and tirelessly seeks
temporary foster care solutions until she can return to provide the care these
animals deserve. Dani Nemeth's unwavering dedication to saving lives is a
shining example of the great impact one person can have on their community and
the world of animal rescue.

San Antonio Pets Alive! has many
cats and dogs who have been with us too long. Each month we highlight our
long-stay animals to help find them their forever families.
|

Marsha is a
5-year-old Labrador, Retriever Mix! She is our longest stay adoptable pup and
has been in our care for more than one year. Marsha is a bit shy and takes
time to open to strangers. Once you gain her trust, her fun side will shine
through!

Doja
is a 1-year-old female cat that loves to play and cuddle. Doja is
affectionate and enjoys curling up on your lap for a drowsy afternoon nap
and then get up and run around. Doja is out longest stay cat and has been in
our care for more than one year! Let's help this cat find her forever
family.
