Last Friday night, Jeffrey's world turned upside down when he entered respiratory distress and his foster parents rushed him to the Emergency Room. The diagnosis was a devastating pneumonia with a guarded prognosis for such a young, fragile puppy. Yet, despite the odds, Jeffrey showed incredible resilience. 

After a brief discharge on Saturday afternoon, Jeffrey's struggle intensified, leading him to return to the ER only hours later. He needed urgent hospitalization, an oxygen cage/incubator, antibiotics, and IV fluids for rehydration. The situation was critical. 

Today, we're so happy to share a positive update with you - Jeffrey has made remarkable progress since then and he’s on the road to recovery! The transformation has been astounding - he's gained weight, become more vocal (perhaps a little too much!), and is moving and wiggling around with newfound energy and spunk. 

In a testament to his strength, Jeffrey's eyes finally fully opened, marking a significant milestone in his recovery journey. His resilience is truly inspiring, and we're grateful for every moment we get to witness his extraordinary comeback.
