In a world where hope often seems fragile, I was notified of a brave little kitten, whose story touched my heart so deeply, that we rescued him immediately!

You see, Valor and his siblings came into the city shelter together this week, and another rescue group saved his siblings, but due to Valor’s injuries, he was left behind to face euthanasia alone. He was sitting in a tiny stainless-steel kennel, heartbroken, calling out searching for his siblings that had just been taken, awaiting his harrowing fate.

The SAPA! animal care team brought him into our care, and within his soft, pain-filled eyes, there was an unyielding spark of courage – hopefully knowing that he had just been saved.

Valor has severe, extensive injuries. All his toes have been torn off - exposing soft tissue, his bone is sticking out of his left front paw, and his left ear has been torn off as well! We’re not sure what kind of trauma he went through to cause all these injuries, but all of his limb injuries require immediate medical intervention.

This is where Valor needs YOUR HELP. The road to recovery will be a long and difficult journey for Valor, as he will need certain procedures and treatments to be able to walk and function like a normal kitten. He will need round the clock care and multiple bandages changed each day.

His procedures are estimated at $1,500.
