While sweet little Kiwi doesn’t have the look of a typical SAPA! pup, he does have the femoral and pelvis fracture in common with many of the dogs currently in our care (also likely from a car accident). On September 27, this brave little guy went under for his femoral fracture surgery. The cost of his first procedure was $830, and since then he's racked up nearly $1,000.
We are so grateful that he will be recovering safe and sound in his wonderful foster home, and we know that once he is all healed up, he’ll be adopted quickly.
Our medical care expenses have skyrocketed this year with the number of found animals brought to the City Shelter in similar conditions. When an animal is in need, and has nowhere else to turn, we feel that it is up to us to step in and get them the care they need to be their healthy and happy selves.
Please give today, to help cover the cost of Kiwi’s medical care, as he continues on his journey to recovery. Thank you so much for all you do to help our precious dogs and cats.
YOU make last chance lifesaving possible!
*Any remaining funds we receive after covering the medical expenses for Kiwi will go towards medical costs for other dogs and cats in our care.
