I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to support a special furry friend in need – Mercutio. Earlier last year, Mercutio, along with his SIX 3-month-old siblings, came into SAPA!'s care skinny, withdrawn, and very sick with a chronic and severe upper respiratory infection. 
  
Regrettably, Mercutio managed to remove his medical cone overnight, resulting in the reopening of his wound, causing paramphimosis and scrotal dehiscence along with a fractured tooth. 
 
Swift action was taken by our staff, and Mercutio was promptly rushed to the hospital for essential treatment. The procedures performed have proven successful, and he is currently under the attentive care of his foster family. 
 
In a heartwarming twist, Mercutio's foster family, deeply moved by his good nature and resilience, has decided to formally adopt him once he's fully healed from this ordeal. This prospect brings great joy, yet the accompanying medical expenses for his procedures and ongoing care exceed $600, necessitating this appeal to our incredible community for help.
