We’re rallying support for our city's most vulnerable cats and dogs. Gifts are currently being doubled by an anonymous benefactor, up to $2,500 to amplify our impact!
Already this year, we've faced an inundation of neglected orphaned kittens, with some sadly enduring forms of abuse. Many suffer from severe medical injuries, requiring constant care.
Orangine, rescued just yesterday from the city shelter's at-risk of euthanasia list due to her severe shoulder wound hindering her mobility, stands as one such case. The large, infected abscess is excruciating for this fragile, four-week-old kitten. She is currently on pain meds and an antibiotic to clear the infection.
As a tiny kitten, Orangine yearns to explore and play, but her injury hampers her movements, a heartbreaking sight to witness. Thankfully, she's now in the care of one of our experienced medical kitten fosters, receiving the attention she needs to recover.
Every day, we're dedicated to providing Orangine, and many others like her, with top-notch care.
Your gift today can make a substantial impact on the lives of tiny babies like Orangine and the multitude of animals in our care.
Emergency cases like Orangine emphasize the ongoing necessity for resources to support our mission of rescuing and enhancing the lives of pets in critical situations.
National Animal Cruelty Awareness week lasts from April 15th to April 21st. Gifts will be matched up to $2,500 ending on April 21st.
