Oreo is a five-year-old dog that came back into our care this week. She was adopted through us four years ago and sadly ended up at the city shelter. This poor girl was found severely injured with an open wound on her left groin and lower abdomen. 

Our Clinic Manager, Tara, took Oreo to one of our partnered vet clinics yesterday to get her laceration repaired with stitches and bandages. The medical team will be providing daily bandage changes and will remove the sutures once her wound has healed.    Tara said, “She’s in good spirits, eating and taking treats. Oreo was wonderful on both trips going to and from the vet clinic. She’s a sweet girl, and I hope she can secure a foster in a few days to receive lots of affection and care.”
