Sally is one of our beautiful pups that recently came into our care. She was on the city shelter’s euthanasia list on September 1st, and we knew we had to help her. Your heart will shatter into a million pieces when you see Sally and the amount of discomfort she is currently in.

Sally is a small 17-pound Chihuahua with a large baseball-size mass under her jaw. Her veterinarian diagnosed her with periodontal disease, causing infection and inflammation of the gums and bone surrounding her teeth, salivary mucocele, an accumulation of saliva leaked from an injured salivary gland, and confirmed that the large mass under Sally's jaw needs to be removed. Sally is also taking medication to reduce inflammation.
